CHAPTER 01 / THE FOREST

There's more than one way up.

Five rooms. Dozens of doors. A tree that keeps growing.
Tap a glowing house — or pick a floor below.

THE FOREST IS AWAKE / INTERACTIVE MAP
An illustrated living treehouse: five homes nestle into the branches, from the library to the observatory.

◆ FLOOR 01 / THINK

The Library

The branches are crowded with questions: why intentions slip, how people learn, and what a life is actually for. Nothing here asks you to agree. Only to look more closely.

“What changes when we ask better questions?”

Curiosity becomes more useful when we give it discipline. A question is an invitation, not a conclusion; the strongest ideas can survive being tested.

◆ FLOOR 02 / MAKE

The Rave Room

Here the books shake off their dust and become basslines, fragrances, absurd experiments and noisy little worlds. Art doesn’t need to justify itself as a productivity hack.

“What if creation could be its own reward?”

Making something gives an idea a form. Sometimes that form is an essay; sometimes it is a beat, an interactive experiment, or a wonderfully impractical thing.

◆ FLOOR 03 / FEEL

The Observatory

Up here, the forest grows silent. There are stars, old dreams, unfinished selves and the gentle possibility that an ordinary Tuesday can be enough.

“What is worth noticing while we are alive?”

Ambition and contentment need not be enemies. We can keep imagining the stars without overlooking the people, mornings and small victories already within reach.

◆ FLOOR 04 / BUILD

The Workshop

Watch out for gears, half-finished contraptions and a monkey with too many tabs. This is where ideas become tools — useful, imperfect, and always open to revision.

“What could we make from what we already have?”

Tools expand what humans can attempt, but judgment remains ours. It matters less who held the hammer than whether the finished bridge is safe to cross.

◆ FLOOR 05 / WANDER

The Galaxy

Every branch belongs to a larger landscape. Follow an unexpected connection, jump into a miniature world, or leave the map behind for a while.

“Which two distant ideas might belong in conversation?”

A connection is an invitation to investigate, not proof of a universal pattern. The fun is in finding a thread — and being honest about how strong it really is.

CHAPTER 03 / THE SECRET ATTIC

The best discoveries aren't always planned.

Some doors are a little harder to classify. This one is for rabbit holes, lucky accidents, and the joy of finding something you weren't looking for.

Psst. There are three bananas hidden around the tree. Finding them unlocks a tiny surprise.

AN OPTIONAL DETOUR / ROOT NOTES

A little science beneath the magic.

This is an artful interface, not a psychological intervention. Two research traditions shaped the questions behind it, without proving that a treehouse website changes behaviour.

01 / CURIOSITY

The itch of an unfinished question.

George Loewenstein proposed that noticing a gap in what we know can stimulate curiosity. Our rooms use questions as doors, not as answers.

02 / AUTONOMY

Choose your own branch.

Self-determination theory emphasises autonomy, competence and relatedness in human motivation. The interface borrows the spirit of choice without claiming to measure these needs.

03 / INTERPRETATION

A metaphor, not a finding.

The monkey, the tree, the five rooms and the secret bananas are creative decisions. They are not derived from a validated educational framework. Explore freely; question freely.

BEFORE YOU GO

Some people build résumés.
Some people build companies.
This monkey built a treehouse.

It isn't a monument. It's a place to begin. The point isn't to admire the tree — it's to see what grows when ideas meet other people.
